A PMS (property management system) is the program in which a property keeps its rooms, guests, prices and invoices. HANS comes from South Tyrol and takes care of Trentino's official reports too.

A day with HANS.

An ordinary Saturday in a twenty-room hotel in Riva del Garda, from breakfast to the overnight report.

  1. 07:30Today's arrivalsToday's arrivals are in the overview. The daily check shows which guest is still missing a detail for the report.
  2. 10:15Booking from Booking.comThe booking sits in the calendar without anyone typing it in. The nights are closed on every other channel.
  3. 14:00Enquiry from MunichA guest asks for the Lago double room in June. HANS replies in German with an offer for exactly that room, using your templates.
  4. 16:30Check-in with Guest CardThe guest enters their own details on the tablet. HANS issues the Trentino Guest Card, and the code arrives by email.
  5. 05:00Night runISPAT statistics and the Alloggiati Web report run from the same data. In the morning there is a receipt for every transmission.

Gestionale, hotel software, PMS – what is what?

The same program under three names. In Trentino people say “gestionale alberghiero”, in English “hotel software”, and “PMS” is the industry’s abbreviation for property management system. All three mean the program in which a property keeps its rooms, guests, prices, invoices and official reports.

For a property in Trentino, the official reports and the Guest Card belong in it too. If you type them into three portals today, HANS handles them from one program.

One PMS for the whole property.

HANS bundles what a property needs every day: occupancy calendar, Channel Engine, direct bookings, guests, correspondence, official reporting and payments. One system instead of several separate tools, built for hotels, B&Bs and agritur.

Trentino's reports and the Guest Card run in the same system. Nobody switches programs or portals to use them.

  • Occupancy calendar

The occupancy calendar at the centre.

Bookings move with the mouse: extending means dragging the edge, a new booking is drawn across the free nights, a room change is a pull up or down.

More about the occupancy calendar ›
  • Channel Manager

    Every portal on one calendar.

Bookings from Booking.com, Airbnb and Expedia land straight in the calendar, and HANS blocks the nights on every other channel. Prices and availability go out by themselves. The Channel Engine is an add-on module to the base package.

More about the Channel Manager ›
  • Direct bookings

Direct bookings through your own website.

Enquiry, booking flow, price calendar, availability, last minute and newsletter go onto your site as widgets, in your property's design and embedded with two lines of code.

    More about direct bookings ›
  • Correspondence

    The enquiry becomes the offer.

If a guest asks for a specific room, HANS answers with an offer for exactly that room, in the guest's language and with your templates. If it is taken, with fitting alternatives.

  • Terminal

    Any device becomes a terminal.

An existing tablet at reception takes over guest card and invoice: the guest enters their own details, and what they enter is immediately correct in the system.

AI assistant

Hansi looks after Trentino too.

Hansi answers guest questions in the chat on your offers and on your website, in the evening and at weekends too. The family from Verona gets an answer in Italian, the guest from Munich one in German. He knows the local tax in your offer, and he has read what your website says about the lake, the cycle paths or the Guest Card.

He checks free rooms and prices with HANS every time. Discount requests and complaints go to your team.

Reporting the way Trentino requires it.

Guest movement statistics to ISPAT and the police report to Alloggiati Web run overnight from the same data. In the morning there is a receipt for every transmission in the system. Guest reporting is part of the base package, at no extra charge.

The statistics go through the province's tourism system STU. If a guest is missing a detail the authority requires, the daily check shows it while the guest is still in the house.

The Trentino Guest Card from the stay.

One click on the stay and the card is issued. If you like, HANS does it right at check-in. The guest receives the code by email and activates it in the Mio Trentino app.

Your property connects once with its ricettivo.guestcard.info account; HANS stores no password for it. The Guest Card is part of guest reporting and costs nothing extra.

On Trentino's portals.

The tourism boards sell accommodation through feratel, on visittrentino.info and the APT websites. The HANS Channel Engine connects feratel just like Booking.com or Airbnb: bookings land in the calendar, rates and availability go out.

The Channel Engine is an add-on module to the base package. We take over the portals your property uses today during setup.

Everyone in their own language.

HANS can be operated in Italian, German and English. Offers, confirmations and the pre-arrival email go out in the guest's language.

On Lake Garda and in the valleys, reception hears a lot of German. Your team works in Italian, and the offer to the guest from Munich goes out in German.

Support from next door.

When something is stuck, you reach a person in South Tyrol: by phone or email, in Italian or German.

No ticket system, no hold queue. Product questions, brief assistance, bug fixes and all updates are included in the price. We never send you a bill for those.

Frequently asked questions.

Is a gestionale alberghiero the same as hotel software or a PMS?
Yes. All three words mean the program that keeps a property's rooms, guests, prices, invoices and reports in one place. As soon as those live in separate programs and portals today, it pays off.
Which reports does HANS handle in Trentino?
Guest movement statistics to ISPAT through the province's STU, the police report to Alloggiati Web and the Trentino Guest Card. We set up the access with you during onboarding.
Do I need a separate channel manager?
No. The HANS Channel Engine takes care of that, as a module in the same system and without a second program. Booking.com, Airbnb and Expedia run through it, and so does feratel.
How does HANS connect to the Trentino Guest Card?
Your property signs in once with its ricettivo.guestcard.info account and grants HANS access. HANS stores no password for it. From then on, HANS issues the cards from the stay.
