Payment link and payment page.

Deposit, balance, spa appointment: one link, one page, paid. Without a customer account and without a detour via us.

Many amounts do not arise in the booking flow: the deposit after an offer, the balance before arrival, a confirmed wellness treatment. For these, HANS creates a payment request, and that becomes a link. Behind it lies the payment page where the guest pays.

The request becomes a link.

You create a payment request on a booking, with items and due date. HANS generates the link you put into an email, and at the terminal a QR code the guest opens with their phone.

The link carries a token, not an amount. What is due, the page fetches from the request in the property. Nobody can change the amount by editing the address.

The payment page.

The guest sees the items, ticks optional ones on or off, sees the total and chooses the payment method. Three steps: selection, payment, done. In your colours, in their language.

The page is hosted by HANS and needs nothing on your website. If you run your own payment page, embed the same widget there and enter the address in HANS; the links then point there.

Card or bank transfer.

Card payments run through your own account with the payment provider; the money goes straight to your bank account. For bank transfers the page shows recipient, IBAN, bank and a reference by which HANS recognises the receipt.

After a card payment the receipt is on the booking immediately. A bank transfer you record when it is in the account; the request waits until then. Besides Stripe, HANS also knows PayPal, Nexi, Mollie and SumUp as accounts.

Free amount, if you want.

On request, the payment page also accepts a freely chosen amount: name, email, reference, sum. For guests who want to settle an invoice by hand. Off by default.

If you switch it on, you set a minimum and a maximum amount and which payment methods apply.

The amount comes from the property.

Every sum that is charged, HANS calculates on the server from the stored request. The guest's browser only displays. That is why there is no payment without a request.

How it gets onto your website.

Your agency places the widget where it should appear, like an embedded video. It becomes part of your page, scrolls with it and opens no separate window.

The embed code for your agency is in the dashboard, ready for your property.

  • Accent colour, font and light or dark mode come from your property's settings. If you prefer, set them in the container.
  • The language follows your page or is set in the container.
  • Bookings and requests are reported to the tags your website already carries. The widget sets no cookie of its own.

More widgets.

Each widget works on its own. Together they cover the path from the first price question to check-in.

Frequently asked questions.

Does the guest need an account?
No. The link is enough. Whoever has it sees the request and can pay it. That is why it belongs in an email to the guest and not on a public page.
What happens if I withdraw the request?
Then the link shows that nothing is open any more. An acknowledgement at the terminal, say because the guest pays cash, also closes the request.
Can I refund a payment?
You trigger the refund in your payment provider's account and note it in HANS on the booking. HANS does not refund automatically.

How do you collect deposits today?

If the answer is “by bank transfer and chasing”, we will show you what the same process looks like with a link and a payment page.
